Biking for getting stamina
« on: June 07, 2019, 08:54:19 AM »
I used to go biking around our village during weekend mornings whenever I have the time. Biking is one good way of building the stamina not only for the lower limbs but in the entire body. I remember feeling very fit when I was still biking. It only stopped when a bulge appeared on my right calf to which the physician advised me to avoid abusing the leg. But maybe I can do the stationary bike once in a while whenever the bulge is not visible.

I also love biking. But the problem is my wife gave our bike to her relative where they will put a sidecar beside it and make it a transportation for a living. I could do biking again if I could purchase a new bike as soon as possible.

I am not sure if I still know how to drive a bike. I was young when I left biking. I remember I fall in the canal when I tried to cross the wood bridge. ( Ha.Ha.Ha ) I was full of mud and it was so stinky.  It was a fun memory. I must say that biking is one of the best exercise. It can burn calories faster and its a good cardiovascular exercise. It strengthen the leg muscles and its good for the heart.

biking is also a good way to build up stamina.. but if biking in a gym cycle is quite bad.. because sometimes it can cause very bad injuries.. if you really want to build up good stamina I prefer HIIT running.. high intensity interval training in which you run as fast as you can for 30 sec- 1 min then cool down for 1 min. because for me it really builds up more stamina.. also I feel building stamina through running is much better.
