What time is the best to exercise?
« on: August 17, 2018, 03:21:47 AM »
I've read some articles that it's best to work in the morning before breakfast. Others say that it's best to work out in the afternoon before sleeping. I'm confused. Experienced bodybuilders what can you say about this?

I prefer to start my day with exercise. It feels good to awaken those muscles and boost energy early in the morning. I like getting sweat and taking a bath afterwards. It freshen me. So, i'm ready for the day.

I'm just a beginner when it comes to exercising. For start, I love to do my exercise in the morning. I jogged, 5am before sunrise. It is more refreshing for me and I feel good in the entire day, physically.

I just started exercising last January as part of my new year's resolution. I didn't know I'd come this far especially when people are mocking me that new year's resolution are meant to be broken. But here I am now, in my eighth month doing exercise. At first I did my exercise during afternoon. It didn't work for me because Im already tired from work and then I find it hard to sleep at night. Then I tried doing it early before work and it did me great. I find morning exercise suitable for me.

Personally I love the early mornings after I have just woken up. It helps to jumpstart the body with my cells and brain activating to be active throughout the day. Later on I take a shower and take breakfast to have a healthy day.

It really depend on the person that will be exercising. The most effective time for me to exercise is when I feel motivated. If you are motivated in the morning you should do your exercise in the morning and if you are an afternoon person do it in the afternoon. It does not really matter what time you are exercising as long as you do it regularly. I hoped that you find the most comfortable time for you to exercise.

I appreciate your opinions. I continued searching the internet about this. And the result of those research shows that exercising before breakfast is the fastest and most effective. If you want your body to lose all those fats then morning exercise would be the best schedule.

Well, time schedule is the deciding factor when it comes to choosing the best time to someone to workout or exercise. But normally, it's supposed to be in the morning time in order put the body in a good shape to carry on the days activities. Personally, I use to workout in the evening, but recently I have switched to working out in the morning.

I think most of it comes down to personal preference. I've also read things stating different times of the day are more beneficial, but I don't know that they were backed by any hard scientific evidence - probably more speculation than anything. I personally like morning workouts because it seems to set my tone for the day in a positive manner.

Working out in the morning is better for me. It's not good to eat before working out. It's better to take your exercise sessions in the morning possibly few hours after you wake up, run to the gym if you are using the gym to exercise, but if you are not, carry out your exercise at home.

Personally, if I eat before exercising, I would feel too heavy and get tired easily in the working out. So, I would rather workout before eating.

I agree. I mean like in many instances it can depend on the person and their schedule as well. What works out for one may not exactly fit into the schedule of a different individual.

I  think both are good options either you do in the morning or in the evening. It would depend on you and your body. Your body would get use to either both options. As long as you are doing correct workout, you have nothing to worry when and where you gonna do it.It would be effective.

I totally agree with you that the schedule is the deciding factor. Having work in the morning makes you to exercise at the afternoon and having work late afternoon can make you to workout at the morning. Still, the important thing is your still exercising everyday.

I think every morning before sunrise is the best time to start your exercise.  But if you don't have time for that, I think it's also alright to exercise before going to sleep.  I used to do my exercise before sleep.

In my opinion it's the convenient and availability decision. I do my workout in the morning because it fits my lifestyle, time and mood. I think the time of the day doesn't matter because in my opinion it's the workout process that counts.
