5x5 Stronglifts
« on: March 26, 2018, 09:49:59 AM »
So whats everyones thoughts not his routine?

I've been doing it for quite a while now and have seen some good strength gains and it seems the shift is to train the same body part multiple times per week as supposed to just once a week on separate days.

Thoughts?

Hey Breezy, good to see you on the forum!

5 x 5 is a good tried and trust training protocol used by many athletes, especially those who are aiming to increase power and strength.

Some cycle this type of workout with high volume training, so 1 week they will focus primarily on strength/power training and the following week more about muscle fatigue via volume training with higher number of reps.

5 x 5 is a good technic to gain muscles and I think this is used mostly by professionals, this is not my case. I am working my body to a gym three times a week and I exercise at home twice a week, this is enough to keep my body in shape and looking good.

5x5 is very important especially for those people that want strong strengths and endurance.
