Eggs for Protein
« on: August 21, 2018, 02:45:39 PM »
One of the best and cheapest way to add protein in your diet is by eating eggs.  It's a mainstay on mine, starting off with 2 eggs sunny side up every morning along with 2 slices of whole wheat bread or with some banana pancakes for a healthy and nutritious breakfast.

When it comes to eggs I eat both whites and yolks.  Some say whites are more healthier than yolks but in truth both contains almost the same amount of protein and why waste the yolk right?  It's delicious if you eat both.

Truly, eggs are very high in protein. Sometimes I only eat the white part of the egg in one day. It is good because I do not get easily get hungry. I can work the whole day only eating eggs. They said if you are on this kind of diet you should avoid the yolk of the egg because it is high in cholesterol. Having high cholesterol in our body is bad it can cause diseases.

Definitely egg is a very good source of protein and there's a diet I was given by my fitness instructor called the egg diet. This is all about taking an egg just in the morning till noon before eating a meal.it helps to keep one filled while enabling one not to eat and take in more calories. Well, it good for those that really needs to lose weight fast.

I may be the odd one out here but I really don't enjoy eggs! I have to find protein sources in other forms because eggs are just a taste I don't enjoy. It's a bit of a bummer since eggs are inexpensive and so quick to prepare (and versatile), but I can't seem to choke them down, even though they do have so many good health benefits.

That is true, maybe you will laugh but for me, the best is to drink a raw egg every night before to go to sleep, of course, we should not abuse eating eggs.

This topic reminds me of my childhood days when we were obliged to eat an egg daily because it is a complete meal. When I am sick my mother would give me 1 boiled egg for my meal together with soup and crackers. But now I try to avoid eggs every day to lessen the cholesterol in my body. But I eat egg at least once or twice a week for the strength that I need.

Eggs are definitely high in protein and is also recommended to me by my gym instructor. Not only me, but my friends also eat eggs to achieve the body they want to. We are all happy with the help eggs give us and we also enjoy eating eggs so it is a win-win situation for us.

I agree on friends here that eggs is a good protein source. It has lots of minerals and nutrients that helps nourish our body. However, I intend to limit its consumption to avoid cholesterol. ( Ha.Ha.Ha ) I like eating it when its hot and mixed with tomatoes. Its delicious.

In a casual conversation with a physician the other day, I was adv8sed to be aware of my consumption of eggs because of my high cholesterol level. The maximum for me is once a week of 2 eggs only. I was surprised by that advice.
