Sauteed bitter gourd

I remember my mother telling us to have bitter gourd once a week to stabilize our blood pressure. Here is the simple recipe....

Ingredients are 2 pieces of bitter gourd, 1 onion and some garlic, 1 egg.

Slice the bitter gourd after taking away the core. Crush the garlic and slice the onion. Sautee the garlic and onion then add a little water before adding the bitter gourd. After 2 minutes of stirring, add the beaten egg and let it boil until the egg is cooked. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Its an easy and delicious dish. I love to eat it with hot rice. I sometimes eat it in raw and its bitter. ( Ha.Ha.Ha ) Aside from the fact that it is good for diabetic patient because it can help maintain blood sugar. It also has many nutritional values that contributes good health. It also help aid in losing weight. I have tried juicing it paired with pineapple, apple, banana, melon and papaya. It maybe bitter but its delicious.
