Most energy drinks on the market are no good as they contain too many sugars or sweetners. Drinks which contain high amounts of sugars defeat the purpose of exercise as you simply ingest what you burnt during exercise.

Energy drinks are actually designed for true athletes who deplete all energy in their body asnd require quick release energy for sport etc... you can get good quality energy drinks with clean ingredients but they are not cheap.

I do not agree with drinking energy drinks because these drinks can harm our health, especially when people abuse these drinks.

I think drinking too much energy drink may have bad effect on your health. I also believed that it contains too much sugar so drinking it while trying to lose weight is not good. Drinking water is better than taking this energy drink. Water cleanse our body unlike energy drinks.

There is one case about a professional basketball player who got suspended for 1 year by an international sports body for testing positive on prohibited drugs (energy-enhancing). Poor guy because he comes clean all the time and the trace of drug was due to the energy drink that he took before a game. Now this is a neat lesson for athletes to avoid energy drinks so that their urine will be clean and save them from issues in drug testing.

I drink energy drink when I am on a long drive, but my mom warned me that I will have a heart problem in the future if I will always drink a large amount of it, which is definitely true. Drinking energy drinks can bring us palpitations so we should be careful.
